App Development ServicesCustom App Development in Albuquerque & Beyond

We help turn ideas into functional, user-friendly digital products. You work directly with the founder, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and available to clients across the United States.

What we build

The kinds of application work we take on. Each project starts with what you need it to do.

  • Custom web applications

Browser-based products built around a specific idea or workflow, rather than adapted from a template.

  • Mobile-friendly web apps

Applications designed to work well on a phone, with no app-store download required.

  • Progressive web apps

Where it suits the project, a web app people can install on their home screen and open like any other app.

  • MVPs for startups

A focused first version of your product, so you can put it in front of real users and learn from them.

  • Business dashboards and internal tools

One place for the information your team checks and updates every day.

  • Custom features and integrations

Connecting your application to the other services your business relies on, for example through REST APIs.

Who it's for

  • Startups turning an idea into a first product
  • Small businesses replacing spreadsheets and manual steps
  • Entrepreneurs who need a technical partner to build with
  • Organizations moving a process or service online

Problems we help solve

Too much runs on manual work
An application can take over the steps your team repeats by hand.
Your tools don't talk to each other
Integrations bring information together so it isn't copied from one system to another.
The system you rely on is outdated
We can plan a replacement around how you work today.
You have an idea but nothing to show
A working prototype or MVP gives you something real to test and share.

How the project runs

From a rough idea to a working product, in four clear steps.

  1. Discover

We work out who the app is for, what it must do first, and what can wait for a later version.

  2. Design

Screens and user flows are designed and agreed with you before development starts.

  3. Develop

We build and test the application using modern tools to ensure smooth, reliable performance.

  4. Launch & Support

We launch with you. Hosting, deployment and post-launch support are discussed and agreed for each project.

Our work

A published application you can open and use today. It is our own founder project, not client work.

Anime Mochi

Anime Mochi is a collection of browser games built and run by our founder. It shows the kind of web application work described on this page.

  • Installable as a progressive web app
  • Runs in the browser with no download or sign-up
  • Game search and category browsing
  • Touch, keyboard and mouse controls
  • Progress saved in the player's own browser

App Development questions

What's the difference between a web app and a native mobile app?

A web app runs in the browser on any device and needs no app-store download. A native app is installed from an app store and built for iOS or Android. Our published work is web-based. We also work with React Native and Expo, so if your project calls for a mobile app we're glad to discuss it. The right technology is chosen for each project.

What is an MVP, and do I need one?

An MVP, or minimum viable product, is a first version with only the features needed to test your idea with real users. It's often a sensible starting point for a new product. During discovery we'll help you decide what belongs in a first version.

How long does it take to build an app?

It depends on the features, integrations, complexity and overall scope. We'll propose a timeline once discovery has made those clear, and we don't commit to delivery dates before then.

How much does an app cost?

Cost follows scope. The inquiry form asks for an estimated budget so we can suggest an approach that fits it. You'll receive an estimate after discovery, and every project is scoped and agreed in writing before work begins.

Who hosts and maintains the app after launch?

Hosting and deployment arrangements depend on the project. We work with platforms such as Firebase and Google Cloud, and can deploy to hosting and cloud accounts that you own. Maintenance and ongoing support are available by arrangement and are discussed and agreed for each project.

Who owns the finished product?

Intellectual property ownership, source code delivery and licensing are defined in the written project agreement, so the terms are clear before work starts.
